AMANDA Seyfried has demanded nude photos of her be removed from the internet, days after Emma Watson was caught up in a similar scandal.
The Sun reports that the pregnant US star’s legal team are said to be attempting to remove the snaps from the web.
Lawyers working for Seyfried, 31, who is expecting her first child with The Newsroom fiance Thomas Sadoski, have sent a letter to Celebjihad.com demanding bosses of the site taken down the pictures.
The photos are said to show Seyfried in various states of nudity or in intimate moments with her former boyfriend.
It is unclear which ex-boyfriend the photos show but Seyfried has dated a string of actors including Mamma Mia co-star Dominic Cooper, Ryan Phillippe and Justin Long.
The letter, obtained by TMZ, states the pictures were “wrongfully obtained by a third party or parties without Ms Seyfried’s knowledge or consent”.
“We hereby demand that you immediately and permanently cease and desist any use of the Seyfried photographs, and remove the Seyfried photographs from your website,” the letter says.
The news comes days after fellow actress Emma Watson, 26, was hit by a photo leak as private pictures of her at a costume fitting emerged on the dark web.
The Telegraph reported that Watson’s team has confirmed the leak but denied the content contains nudity.
A spokesperson for Watson told the publication: “Photos from a clothes fitting Emma had with a stylist a couple of years ago have been stolen. They are not nude photographs.
“Lawyers have been instructed and we are not commenting further.”
